The company had 2 of the biggest names in tech and entertainment as its leaders and $1.8 billion in funding. Yes, you read that right, BILLION.

The 25 most spectacular branding fails of the last 25 years

Speaking of failures… the invention of the internet, followed by the quick rise of social media, has created major changes in how we consume media, products, and communicate with each other…

But the rapidly evolving nature of it all has created fertile ground for brands to fail.

Fast Company compiled an excellent list of the 25 best brand failures of the last 25 years, including some real doozies from Calvin Klein, The North Face and Bank of America.

 

 

 

ThirdLove’s TL Effect Supports Female Entrepreneurs of Color

We all saw that after this summer’s Black Lives Matter protests, many brands vowed to “do more” and “do better” to support the black community. One brand that has followed through in a big way is ThirdLove.

The lingerie company created TL Effect, a program to support female entrepreneurs of color, and their first recipient just received a $20,000 grant, dedicated office space at ThirdLove’s headquarters, a spotlight across the DTC brand’s social platforms, and financial advising from the company’s founders.
